Are there other coating products
available like Liquid Vinyl Siding?
Not exactly. There are many companies with similar names
advertising a spray on coating or "liquid vinyl". But that's where the similarity ends.
The technologically advanced formula of Liquid Vinyl Siding is made
with
high quality vinyl resin and polymers. Other companies use
modifications of latex/acrylic and elastomeric (rubber-base) paint
or even ordinary paint that has been relabeled with their product
name. Liquid Vinyl Siding is the original Liquid Vinyl which home
and business owners have been trusting to protect their homes and
businesses for over 20 years. While other companies market spray-on coatings
which are nothing more than ordinary paint with ceramic or some
other filler added, our
unique vinyl coating is manufactured with the same PVC resin used to
make traditional vinyl siding panels.
For uncompromised beauty and lasting durability, Liquid Vinyl Siding
is a smart investment that will save you money. Liquid Vinyl Siding
is guaranteed to last.

How is Liquid
Vinyl Siding applied?
Other coating companies will tell you that their product can
only be sprayed using "special" equipment. How
else can they charge you an exorbitant price for their
ordinary paint product unless they apply it themselves? The
truth of the matter is that all coatings can
be brushed, rolled or sprayed. Although spraying with
high pressure is the easiest way to apply it and produces
the nicest finish, it really does not matter how it is
applied as long as it is applied at the minimum recommended
thickness and manufacturer guidelines are followed.

Can I buy Liquid Vinyl Siding directly from you and apply it myself?
Yes! Unlike other coating companies that will
only sell you their product if they install it, we give you the
option of applying it yourself. Whether you are a
do-it-yourselfer or want to have a painter of your choice apply it
for you, we can help you with a problem-free installation. We
provide easy to follow instructions and provide technical
assistance.

Does Liquid Vinyl Siding help insulate?
Yes, the Liquid Vinyl Siding system is effective at preventing
energy drain by sealing the structure and can reduce heat loss in winter as well as
heat gain in
summer. R-Value in a coating is difficult to measure.
Beware of spray on coating companies making factious insulation claims. They are
unverifiable and the FTC is
disciplining companies making such
fictitious
insulation claims. A coating, even with a ceramic added, cannot
provide enough insulation that will significantly reduce
your energy bills. The true value of Liquid Vinyl
Siding is in the elimination of future painting and maintenance
costs, continuing beautiful appearance
and what it can add to the property's resale value.

How long has Liquid Vinyl Siding been in existence?
Liquid Vinyl Siding was developed in England in the 1960's. It has been
marketed throughout the United States
for over 25 years.
Liquid Vinyl is time tested and has a proven performance history
behind it.

How thick is Liquid Vinyl Siding?
The entire coating (base coat and topcoat) is about ten to fifteen times thicker than an
average coat of paint. Standard
paints consist of about 70% - 85% liquids which evaporates out of
the paint as it dries. Only 25% to 30% of the actual paint if left on
the surface. Liquid Vinyl Siding has a much higher solid
content leaving about 70% of the solid particles on the
surface. A coat of dry paint is only about one mil (1/1,000 inch)
thick; as thin as a sandwich bag and by
comparison, 4 times thinner than a sheet of printer paper (4 mils).
The final coating formed by the Liquid Vinyl Siding system has a total thickness of about 18 mils. Regular paint and stains do not provide
enough needed protection and do not hold up very long when exposed to the
elements.

How do I clean Liquid Vinyl Siding?
When necessary, simply hose it down with a garden hose. If you
prefer, it can
be pressure washed as well. Ordinary household cleansers such as
Spic & Span or a solution of bleach and water can be used without harming
the coating. We provide you with touch-up material in case you have a
really serious stain such as graffiti.

Can more than one color be
applied?
Yes, we can coat a home with multiple colors or any combination of
colors.

is approved for use over wood, stucco, cement, brick, block,
composite siding, aluminum siding, traditional vinyl siding, masonry
and metal. It should not be used for roofing, decks or horizontal
surfaces.

But I have a brick house?
Even brick homes still have a lot of wood that needs to be protected
such as the eves, wood trim around windows and doors, railing,
columns and porch ceilings. Applying Liquid Vinyl will protect these
areas as well and can make the entire exterior maintenance-free.

What preparation needs
to be done before
applying Liquid Vinyl?
Surface preparation is absolutely crucial. We take care of all
the preparation before installing the Liquid Vinyl system. Each
project involves different preparation steps depending on the type,
age and condition of the surfaces. Molds and mildew are completely
removed and surfaces are cleaned. Rotted or faulty wood is replaced
and surfaces are routinely scraped, sanded and caulked. Rust or
other oxidation is removed and sealed from nail heads and other
metal structures. Moisture levels in the wood surface is checked
before coating. We will thoroughly prepare all surfaces before the
application of the Liquid Vinyl bonder and top coat of Liquid Vinyl
Siding.
