A Technologically superior coating

Liquid Vinyl Siding is engineered to last. What makes the Liquid Vinyl Siding system unique to other coatings is its unique chemical formulation using high quality virgin PVC resin. The coating is very thick, over ten times thicker than ordinary paint. Liquid Vinyl Siding is applied like paint, but offers the durable of traditional vinyl siding. Originally developed in England in the 1960's, Liquid Vinyl Siding has a proven performance history and track record behind it.

A typical coat of paint provides about 1 mil (.001 inches) dry film thickness. The Liquid Vinyl system consists of a bonding base coat and topcoat of liquid vinyl which leaves a dry film thickness of about 18 mils, over 15 times thicker than a typical coat of paint! Applying Liquid Vinyl will not change the architectural appearance of the building and is approved for use over wood, stucco, cement, brick, metal and virtually any other paintable surface.

Best of all, think of the money you will save. Although costing slightly more initially than a typical paint job, its dividends can pay off handsomely for years to come on exterior maintenance, future repainting costs and the value it adds to your home. No more dealing with painters every few years. It is an investment that makes sense more than ever.

Liquid Vinyl Siding is different

The thickness of the Liquid Vinyl system is not the only reason it is a superior coating. An exterior coating must possess all four of these qualities for lasting protection and long-term durability;

Elasticity,
Breathability,
Resist water penetration
Complete memory retention.

Liquid Vinyl Siding has over 600% elasticity which allows it to expand and contract with the substrate without cracking or splitting during temperature changes. It also has complete memory retention. After stretching, it always comes back to its original shape without sagging or cracking, unlike latex paint. And in addition to having the ability to shed water, it is still very permeability which is necessary to allow the coating to 'breathe'. If a coating does not have enough permeability, moisture gets trapped behind the coating causing blisters to form and leading to eventual cracking and peeling.

The high content of PVC resin used in the coating's composition makes Liquid Vinyl Siding unique. During the curing process, the PVC molecules align in a very specific formation. They retain their roundish shape creating minute spaces between molecules that give it needed permeability and at the same time, the ability to repel water. The microscopic gaps between the PVC molecules allow tiny vapor particles to escape but are too small to allow larger water molecules to penetrate.

Engineered to withstand the most extreme of climates, Liquid Vinyl Siding is one of the most durable coatings you will find. Whether the climate in your area is hot and humid, damp and cold or arid, the Liquid Vinyl Siding system will give your home or business lasting beauty and the protection it deserves.

Environmentally safe

Liquid Vinyl Siding is an eco-friendly product. It is a water base product low in VOC content (volatile organic compounds). It meets or exceeds all EPA guidelines. The manufacture of vinyl uses as little as one-third the energy of alternative materials and release less carbon dioxide (a greenhouse gas) than many paints and competing coatings. Almost all the scrap generated is recyclable. Recent studies have shown that vinyl products are safe and environmentally acceptable throughout their life, from extraction of materials to recycling/disposal. Most recently, the European Commission concluded a comprehensive review of 250 life-cycle assessments of PVC and competing materials. The Commission found that vinyl products offer environmental benefits equal to or better than those of other materials. Latex paint contains ingredients that can harm fish and wildlife and contaminate our food chain. Millions of gallons of leftover latex paint are poured down drains and discarded in landfills every year. The government has been mandating the removal of key components in standard paint that have been harming the environment. Unfortunately, the components that have been removed are the same components that gave paint its durability. Its removal has drastically degraded its usefulness. Coating with Liquid Vinyl helps the environment and saves you money, energy and ends the senseless painting cycle.
