Surface Preparation is a Crucial Step
in Any Coating Application.

Liquid Vinyl Siding can be applied over virtually any paintable surface. It is not recommended for decks, roofs or tight fitting moving parts such as window sashes. Surface preparation will vary depending on the surface and condition of the surface being coated.

STEP 1: Inspection
A visual inspection is conducted of the entire structure. Surfaces are thoroughly inspected and if any problems are found, are taken care of before application begins. Each project will be slightly different depending on the age, condition and type of surfaces being coated.

STEP 2: Pressure Washing
Your home or business is cleaned using a fungicide from top to bottom with a high pressure cleaning system. This ensures that grease, mold, mildew, dirt, pollen and other surface contaminants are completely removed. A clean surface is absolutely necessary for any exterior coating.

STEP 3: Repair and/or replace bad surfaces
The long-term success of the coating requires the surface to be in good repair. Bad boards are repaired or replaced and the bare wood is sealed. A stain block may be used for woods susceptible to leaching or tannin bleed.

STEP 4: Scrape, sand and seal
Rough surfaces are scraped and edges are feather sanded to give a professional appearance. Areas of exposed wood from sanding or replacement are sealed. Energy loss can be a problem due to air leaks and poor or non-existent caulking.Cracks, gaps and crevices are filled using a special water resistant, 50-year filling compound to create a more water tight, energy efficient home. Great care is taken to ensure that this step is done properly.

STEP 5: Masking, taping and protecting
Windows, doors, trim, hardware, fixtures, etc. are masked or temporarily removed to protect against splattering. Decking, railing, fences and other areas are shielded or covered to protected against overspray. We understand your landscape is important in the esthetic appearance of your home and special care is taken to protect your plants, flowers, trees and other features.

STEP 6: First Coat: Bonding Agent
Once the meticulous preparation steps are completed, the first part of the Liquid Vinyl Siding system is applied. A base coat composed of a bonding agent specially formulated for the Liquid Vinyl system is applied to the surface. This provides a solid foundation for the vinyl topcoat and will fuse the coating to the substrate.

STEP 7: Second Coat: Liquid Vinyl topcoat
This coat of Liquid Vinyl is applied very thick and then back rolled to push the coating into cracks, grooves and textured surfaces eliminating potential air pockets that may occur beneath your coating. It also ensures substantially better adhesion to your surface. You will notice a thick, rich, luxurious low luster finish that is smooth to the touch. The finish coat is 15 times thicker than regular paint.

STEP 8: Detail touch up
Masking tape will be removed and the crew will closely inspect the coated areas and touch up as needed to give your home a neat, professional look.

STEP 9: Clean job site
The workers will clean the job site, re-attach fixtures and replace items that may have been moved, returning your home to its original condition.

Step 10: Final inspection and Satisfaction Guaranteed
Customer satisfaction is priority No. 1. A job is not complete until you are 100% satisfied. A final visual inspection is performed. We take as much pride in your home as you do. Your authorized contractor or dealer will submit the necessary paperwork for a written warranty to be issued to you directly from the manufacturer.
